SIZING
Double check your pup's measurements before ordering!
Measure around your pup's neck and add some wiggle room for comfort. It's always best to size up if you are unsure or between sizes.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Bandanas are made from 100% cotton. All fabric has been prewashed prior to cutting and making.
Keep your bandana looking nice by removing and folding after each use. Spot clean with a damp cloth between washes.
Hand wash by soaking in cold water with minimal detergent (we recommend OxiClean). Rinse until the water runs clear. Lay flat to dry.
OR
Machine wash in cold, delicate cycle, lay flat to dry.
For personalized bandanas and bandanas with sayings, iron on low with a press cloth or towel. DO NOT iron directly on vinyl names/sayings.
CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE?
We work hard to make the perfect bandana for your pup! Please carefully review the product information prior to purchasing. Pawsitive Pup Gear does not accept returns/exchanges unless there is an issue with the item.
However, we want you to be happy with your purchase! If you are not 100% satisfied please email us within 48 hours of receiving your order to discuss your options.
ARE BANDANAS SAFE FOR DOGS?
Bandanas are generally safe for dogs! Follow these safety tips to avoid trouble -
Comfortable Fit - the bandana should fit loosely with room for 2-3 fingers between the bandana and their neck. It should not restrict movement or breathing.
Be on the Lookout - watch for signs of discomfort or chewing. Contact your vet immediately if your dog ingested any part of their bandana.
Break Time - bandanas are cute accessories but should be removed during sleep, play with other dogs, or when unsupervised.
WHAT IF I NO LONGER NEED MY BANDANA?
If you no longer need your bandana - whether your dog has outgrown it, it's too worn, or you've lost your pet you have a few thoughtful options. Many customers choose to donate gently used bandanas to a local animal shelter. You're also welcome to contact us about returning it; if possible, we're happy to donate it on your behalf or reuse/recycle some of the materials.
ARE YOUR MATERIALS ETHICALLY AND SUSTAINABLY SOURCED?
We're intentional about where our materials come from and aim to source them as responsibly as possible. We prioritize purchasing from local fabric stores or secondhand sources. When that isn't possible we look for companies that are more transparent about their sustainability practices.
We also prefer to source elastic secondhand. Elastic is a common sewing notion that often goes unused or is only partially used. By choosing reused materials we are able to reduce waste.
All secondhand materials are properly cleaned and sanitized prior to use. If you have fabric or elastic you'd like to donate or sell, feel free to reach out.
